About the data

Claude and Codex comparisons use paired five-hour and weekly quota readings. Model names come from Claude Code and Codex logs stored on your Mac. Those logs add model and cache context; they do not reveal the provider’s exact quota formula or prove account-wide token attribution. Unobserved periods stay unknown. Codex quota does not cover every ChatGPT feature.

Task suggestions use fresh headroom and your service preferences. Reservations are local planning targets, not provider-side locks or transfers. Forecasts need enough observed history and remain estimates. Personal and work budgets stay separate.

The web preview uses fictional sample data held in browser memory. It does not connect accounts, read files or change subscriptions. macOS authentication and system dialogs are represented with sample interactions. In the Mac app, usage history, reservations and completed-change records stay on your Mac. Prices are published US list prices, not your invoice. Savings are projected rate reductions from changes you record after completing them with the provider.

The website uses Google Analytics for visits and feature and installation-link clicks. App usage records are not sent to website analytics. Global Privacy Control disables website analytics.
